Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome has blasted President Uhuru Kenyatta blaming him for all the ills facing the country.

She says President Kenyatta is a threat to Kenya's economy, democracy, freedom of expression, political affiliation and growth. She termed Uhuru as "the biggest existential threat to Kenya's declining economy & democracy."

The Jubilee MP who appeared to be reading a speech written on a notebook went ahead and attacked Raila calling him a mercenary for hire and said that the 2 leaders are determined to ensure they stay in power courtesy of the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI). "The BBI is the special vehicle heading to the route that has been suggested by David Murathe, Francis Atwoli and Senator Beth Mugo. I'm sure Kenyans must be thinking that Murathe is dreaming. No, I don't think Murathe is dreaming. I don't think that Atwoli is speaking from nowhere. I don't think Beth Mugo, who is a close relative to the President is speaking from nowhere(sic)."
"The suggestions that Uhuru Kenyatta because he is young he is going nowhere, is an insult and an abuse to the intelligence of Kenyans," she frothed.

Kenyans are finding it hard to reconcile their thoughts on this Member of Parliament who has been one of the most outspoken Jubilee female leaders and who at one time assaulted an election official over the tally of Uhuru Kenyatta's votes in her constituency. She was recently in the news after she snapped at her critics for calling her out for neglecting the status of a primary school in her Kandara constituency.

In the recent past,Wahome, who belongs to the Tangatanga wing of the Jubilee party has shifted her political affiliation from President Uhuru Kenyatta to that of Deputy President William Ruto and has been accompanying the DP in his campaigns for 2022 in total defiance of the President's directive to politicians to stop early campaigns and focus on delivering to Kenyans.
