James Nyoro will have to wait until the Judiciary comes up with a date to swear him in as Governor for Kiambu County Government.

Through a press statement sent to the media, the Judiciary did not give reasons for the postponement of the ceremony despite many politicians turning up at the county government headquarters in Kiambu town for the ceremony.

Early Thursday morning  the media reported that High Court Judge John Onyiego would preside over the swearing in ceremony of the new Governor.

The swearing in ceremony which was expected to be done by midday was delayed for hours over reasons not known to the public a move that has drawn different reactions.

Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen posted, "A High Court Judge cannot preside over swearing in of DG of Kiambu to be a Governor before 10 days are over and before they Gazette the date, time and place for conducting the swearing in Ceremony. But you know what ? Everything is working like a clock in the new Kenya."

Waititu was impeached on Wednesday on three charges namely; gross violation of the Constitution and Public Finance Management Act, Crimes under the National Law and gross abuse of office.
