NTSA infuriates Kenyans

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) is rocked in confusion with the Modern Coast Express in relation to the suspension of the bus' licence following multiple accidents in the recent past. This is after a letter from the road authority surfaced online lifting the suspension of the bus service.

Early Tuesday morning, Modern Coast Express sent out a tweet to customers informing them that they had received permission from NTSA to resume normal scheduled bus services.

In a quick response,NTSA refuted the claims and maintained that the suspension had not been lifted.

On 12th December,2019 2 buses belonging to the Modern Coast Express were involved in a terrible accident along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway leaving 5 dead and 62 injured.
