Rachel Ruto pens an emotional birthday message to her husband
Wife to Kenya Deputy President Rachel Ruto has written an emotional message dedicated to her husband as he celebrates his 53rd birthday. Rachel who has stayed close to her husband since his early days as a church minister all through his political journey appreciated her husband for the love and support he has shown her since they got together.
She wrote,"Happy Birthday Bill. My best friend and confidant. This day is special as we celebrate your birthday and our wedding anniversary. This far we have come all I can say is thank you. Nothing I can do can repay the amount of love and support you have shown.My prayer for you as we go forward is Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
She went ahead and shared the below photo of themselves in their early days.
Not to be left out in sending their hearty messages were politicians and Kenyans who took to twitter to send their wishes to the Deputy President.

Ruto is celebrating his birthday in a day that he is set to lay the Foundation Stone for the William Ruto Institute of African & Leadership Studies at Makerere University.
