Former President Daniel Moi is dead

Former President Daniel Moi has passed away. Moi passed away at Nairobi Hospital where he had been hospitalised since October last year.

According to his long serving press secretary Lee Njiru, Moi died aged 102. “Mzee told me many times not to go by what is on his identification card. He was not 96 years as reported but he has died at 102 years”.
